Bobrisky Mourns As He Announces Father’s Death

Popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, and his family are currently facing a difficult period as they grieve the passing of their beloved father.

Bobrisky recently took to his Snapchat account to share the heartbreaking news with his followers.

He revealed that his father, Kunle Okuneye, breathed his last in the early hours of Monday, August 14th.

Though the crossdresser did not extensively disclose the details surrounding his father’s demise, he penned a heartfelt message announcing the loss: “Guys, I lost my daddy this morning.”

Bobrisky’s brother, Debola Okuneye, spoke to Punch in an exclusive interview, providing additional information regarding their father’s passing and the upcoming funeral arrangements.

Debola Okuneye disclosed that their father’s funeral would adhere to Islamic customs and be held on the same day.

“Yes, my father passed away this morning, and we are currently making arrangements for his burial,” he stated.

A close associate of the deceased, known as ‘Lastbborn,’ disclosed that the burial ceremony is scheduled for 4 pm in Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State, the hometown of the late Kunle Okuneye. The burial will take place at the family’s hometown, where Bobrisky’s father served as a Director for Beach Nigeria Enterprises, a car rental company with a presence at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.

Confirming the burial time, Lastborn remarked, “Yes, it’s true; the burial will take place by 4 pm today.”
