Reports indicate that Wigwe met with the unfortunate incident in California, close to the Nevada border in the United States, according to The Will.
Tragically, it’s believed that Wigwe’s wife and son were also passengers on the helicopter.
The New York Times has confirmed that authorities have not yet found any survivors as of Saturday morning.
The Federal Aviation Administration disclosed that the helicopter involved was a Eurocopter EC130, which crashed around 10 p.m. local time near Nipton, Calif, an unincorporated community situated about 60 miles south of Las Vegas in eastern San Bernardino County.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear, including the departure location and the helicopter’s intended destination.
