Arsenal have expressed an interest in signing Real Madrid attacking midfielder Brahim Diaz, who is currently on loan at AC Milan, according to Corriere Dello Sport.
The 23-year-old is set to return to his parent club this summer, with Real Madrid considering either reintegrating him into their squad or selling him to the highest bidder.
This opens the possibility for Arsenal to move for Diaz, as they have reportedly contacted Real Madrid to inquire about the Spanish-Moroccan prospect.
Real Madrid has set a minimum transfer fee of €25million (£22.1m) for Diaz, which Arsenal would need to match or exceed to secure his signature. AC Milan, who have had Diaz on loan for the past three seasons, would also like to keep him but could be outbid by the Gunners.

Brahim Diaz’s Performance
Diaz has played 34 games in all competitions for AC Milan this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists. During his extended loan spell with Milan, Diaz has made 113 appearances, scoring 17 goals and providing 11 assists. Real Madrid has only used him 21 times, seeing him score twice and add three assists.

Diaz’s Second Chance in the Premier League
Having previously played for Manchester City, Diaz has experience in the Premier League, making 15 appearances and scoring two goals. Diaz’s contract with Real Madrid is set to last until 2025, but they may decide to cash in on him this summer if they can’t find a place for him in their squad.
With Arsenal likely to have Champions League football on offer next season, they could be an attractive destination for Diaz. The versatile player can cover as a playmaker or right winger, making him a possible rotation option for Martin Odegaard or Bukayo Saka.
If he moves to Arsenal, Diaz could reunite with former Manchester City teammates Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Adding Brahim Diaz to Arsenal’s squad could help reduce the burden on key players as the intensity of their calendar increases. With Real Madrid considering offers for the player, Arsenal could make a move and offer him a second chance in the Premier League.
