The Enugu State government has expressed appreciation to the United Kingdom for establishing a visa center in the state.
This initiative aims to streamline the visa application process for residents of the South-East region of Nigeria.
Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, the Secretary to the State Government, issued a statement on Monday highlighting the significance of the newly established visa center. He revealed that the creation of this center resulted from Governor Peter Mbah’s earlier request during the visit to the Government House by the UK High Commissioner to Nigeria, Dr. Richard Montgomery, in June of this year.
Onyia expressed the government’s excitement and contentment upon receiving the news of the visa center, emphasizing that it would strengthen economic ties and cultural exchanges between Enugu State and the United Kingdom.
