How to Apply for the Personal Travel Allowance (PTA) on the Trade System

If you are planning to apply for a Personal Travel Allowance (PTA) on the Trade System, here is a simple guide on how to do it.

1. Log in to your account

Access the Trade System website and log in to your account with your username and password.

2. Select PTA/BTA 

On the dashboard, locate and click on the PTA/BTA option to proceed with your application.

3. Enter all necessary travel details. 

Fill in all the required information on the application form, including your name, destination country, travel purpose, and the amount you want to apply for.

4. Upload necessary travel documents. 

Upload scanned copies of your return flight ticket, visa page, and passport data page. Ensure that these documents are clear and readable.

5. Upload the company’s letter of nomination and certificate of incorporation (in case of BTA only) 

If you are applying for a Business Travel Allowance (BTA), you must upload the company’s letter of nomination and certificate of incorporation.

6. Enter your bank account number to debit. 

Provide the bank account number you want to debit for the transaction.

7. Select your bank from the dropdown. 

Choose your bank from the list of banks provided in the dropdown menu.

8. Select the bank branch.

Choose the bank branch where you want the transaction to be treated.

9. Submit 

After completing all the required fields and uploading the necessary documents, click the submit button to send your application.

That’s it! Once your application is submitted successfully, your bank will debit your account with the requested amount, and your PTA will be processed.
