Liverpool’s Quest for Real Madrid’s Valverde
According to reports, Liverpool is eager to bolster its midfield options and has set its sights on Real Madrid’s Federico Valverde. Despite an unsuccessful attempt to secure Aurelien Tchouameni, the Reds are undeterred and have submitted an offer of £68.7 million, including add-ons, for the Uruguayan star.
Real Madrid had been holding out for £86 million, but with their imminent acquisition of Jude Bellingham and a potential pursuit of Mbappe, club president Florentino Perez might have to consider a compromise.
Mbappe’s Desire to Leave PSG
In a significant development, Kylian Mbappe has expressed his intention to depart Paris Saint-Germain. The French superstar has informed the club that he will not extend his contract beyond the upcoming season, making a summer transfer increasingly likely.
This situation presents an opportunity for Real Madrid, who need a replacement for Karim Benzema. President Perez is determined to bring Mbappe to the Bernabeu; however, PSG will demand a substantial fee for their prized asset.

Pep Guardiola’s Pursuit of Gvardiol
Pep Guardiola is keen on signing Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig this summer. Conflicting reports have surfaced regarding the potential cost of acquiring the Croatian defender. Talksport suggests that Gvardiol could leave Leipzig if they receive an offer of £75 million. On the other hand, Fabrizio Romano claims that Leipzig will demand a world-record fee of €100 million (£86 million) for the talented defender.
Manchester City may consider selling Kalvin Phillips to help offset some of the potential expenses, with West Ham reportedly interested in signing the English midfielder following a season in which he made only two Premier League starts.
