According to a report, one of Erik ten Hag’s main targets for Manchester United, Wout Weghorst, has decided to reject the move to Old Trafford and instead choose between two of Europe’s biggest clubs, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.
The Dutchman has done well during his first season with Man Utd, winning the Carabao Cup in February and competing for a top-four spot.
However, if Ten Hag is to get the Red Devils competing with City and Arsenal for next season’s Premier League title, he needs a lethal striker to join his squad.
Manchester United has reportedly identified four strikers for their attack: Victor Osimhen, Harry Kane, Goncalo Ramos, and Benjamin Sesko. All four players have shown they are able to score plenty of goals, although at different levels.

While Kane has proven himself to be one of the best strikers in the world during his time at Tottenham, and Osimhen is performing well for Napoli, Ramos and Sesko are still at the beginning of their careers but have the potential to shine for massive clubs in the future.
Unfortunately for Ten Hag, it appears that he will miss out on Napoli talisman Osimhen. According to Italian source Calciomercato, the Nigerian striker will choose between PSG and Bayern Munich in the summer, with Man Utd not in the mix.
Although Osimhen has a love for the Premier League, he is attracted by the prospect of leading the PSG attack next season, with the futures of both Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi uncertain.
Additionally, one of the main reasons Osimhen is considering Bayern is that his girlfriend is German and is keen to move back to her home country.
However, Ten Hag could still get a world-class striker through the door by landing Kane from Spurs.
Meanwhile, Man Utd has reportedly joined the race for a high-quality Premier League star who will definitely be sold by his current team this summer.
