After a challenging start to the season, the Red Devils are eager to secure a victory and put their recent struggles behind them.
Goalkeeper and Defense
In goal, summer signing Andre Onana is expected to continue between the posts, aiming to secure his first clean sheet since the season opener against Wolves. The back four will likely feature Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back, Diogo Dalot at left-back, and a center-back partnership of Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez, as Raphael Varane remains unavailable. However, Sergio Reguilon, recently loaned to the club, could challenge for a starting position in defense.
Midfield
Manager Erik ten Hag may opt for a change in midfield, giving Scott McTominay his first start of the season alongside Casemiro and Christian Eriksen. Eriksen is expected to play an advanced midfield role, adding creativity to the team’s play. Unfortunately, new signing Sofyan Amrabat is sidelined due to injury, limiting midfield options.

Attack
With Jadon Sancho and Antony unavailable, Bruno Fernandes may be deployed on the right wing, a position he has occasionally played. On the attacking front, Rasmus Hojlund, who made his United debut as a substitute against Arsenal, deserves a starting role as the central striker. Marcus Rashford will likely retain his place on the left wing, adding pace and flair to the attack.

Based on these considerations, the predicted Manchester United line-up against Brighton & Hove Albion is as follows:
- Goalkeeper: Andre Onana
- Defense: Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Lisandro Martinez, Diogo Dalot
- Midfield: Casemiro, Scott McTominay, Christian Eriksen
