Nollywood actress Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, has apologized to Ekiti State University for her absence at the recently concluded induction ceremony of the school’s Theatre and Media Arts Department.
Being an alumna of the prestigious university and the wife of Lateef Adedimeji, another alumnus, Mo Bimpe’s absence disappointed many.
In her statement, Mo Bimpe expressed her pride in being associated with Ekiti State University and her willingness to contribute to its growth and success. However, unforeseen circumstances led to her unavoidable absence, for which she sincerely apologized to the Theatre and Media Arts Department staff and students.

“Truly, humans plan, but God is the best Planner,” Mo Bimpe remarked, acknowledging that sometimes events don’t unfold as intended. Despite her absence, she assured everyone that she would find ways to make up for it and be part of the university’s future events more meaningfully.
She said: “I am a proud alumna of the prestigious Ekiti State University, and I am always glad when called upon, as it indicates growth and love.
I tender sincere apologies to the staff and students of the Theatre and Media Arts Department for my inevitable absence at this year’s induction ceremony due to unforeseen circumstances. While I crave your peaceful indulgence, I promise to make it up in better folds”.

Recall that in recent weeks, Mo Bimpe and her husband, Lateef Adedimeji, have been occupied with the opening of their store. The actress shared a video of herself looking exhausted but determined for the store’s launch, highlighting their dedication to their endeavors.
