Ederson, the Manchester City goalkeeper, revealed that Carlo Ancelotti could become Brazil’s next head coach.
Ancelotti is currently managing Real Madrid and has been rumored to replace Tite. Tite resigned after Brazil’s quarter-final loss to Croatia in the World Cup.
Ancelotti’s current contract with Real Madrid runs until the end of next season, and the Brazilian Football Confederation denied reports of an agreement with the Italian last month. However, Ederson remains optimistic about the prospect of Ancelotti taking charge of the team.

“Just look at his CV. We will know shortly whether he will be here or not,” Ederson said at a press conference ahead of Brazil’s friendly with Morocco. He hopes a new coach will be appointed quickly to end the speculation surrounding the appointment.

Ancelotti’s illustrious career includes 25 trophies won across his 28-year managerial career. This includes four Champions League titles, two with Milan and two in separate spells with Madrid.
When asked about the possibility of coaching Brazil, Ancelotti said, “I have a contract with Real Madrid until 2024.”
Ramon Menezes is currently the interim coach in Brazil. The country is still looking for a permanent coach. Menezes is set to take charge of his first game this Friday, with Brazil playing Morocco in a friendly.
Big names missing from Menezes’ first squad include Neymar and Thiago Silva, both out injured, and Liverpool’s goalkeeper Alisson.
