Arsenal’s woes continue as Thomas Partey faces another injury setback, ruling him out of the crucial Champions League clash against Sevilla.
The midfielder, who recently returned from a groin injury, is now sidelined due to a troublesome muscle issue, leaving Arsenal without his services in the European encounter in Spain.
This unfortunate development comes after Partey’s brief comeback with a 15-minute appearance against Manchester City earlier this month, followed by a spot on the bench during the 2-2 draw against Chelsea.
In the current season, he has only managed to feature in four Premier League matches and has yet to make an appearance in the Champions League.
Since his move from Atletico Madrid to Arsenal three years ago, Partey has been plagued by a series of injuries. In his first two seasons with the club, he was restricted to 24 Premier League matches each due to various ailments. However, he saw a more consistent run last year, making 33 appearances despite a brief absence due to a thigh problem.
Arsenal fans anxiously await Partey’s return to the squad, hoping he recovers for the upcoming weekend match against Sheffield United.
