Arsenal are set to face Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium, with Leandro Trossard in line to start for the Gunners.
Arsenal are coming off a 4-1 defeat to Manchester City, leaving them one point behind Pep Guardiola’s side in the Premier League table.
Meanwhile, Chelsea sit 12th in the league and are 10 points above the relegation zone after a 2-0 defeat to Brentford.
William Saliba will not be available for selection due to a back injury sustained in March, while Rob Holding is expected to start in defence alongside Gabriel Magalhaes.
Other than Saliba, Mohamed Elneny and Takehiro Tomiyasu are the only notable absentees for Arsenal, leaving them with a fully fit squad to choose from.
In midfield, Martin Odegaard is set to feature again for Arsenal, with Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka on either side of the Norwegian.
Chelsea’s Jorginho may have to settle for a place on the bench against his former club. Gabriel Jesus is expected to lead the line for Arsenal, but Trossard could start following his good performances off the bench in recent weeks.
As for Chelsea, Kai Havertz is in line to return after a brief spell on the sidelines. The German will be looking to lead the line, but he will face competition from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and David Datro Fofana. Reece James, Mason Mount, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Marc Cucurella remain out, with James and Mount expected to miss the rest of the season due to injury.
Thiago Silva is set to lead the defence alongside Wesley Fofana and Trevoh Chalobah, while Enzo Fernandez will most likely maintain his place in the heart of midfield with N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic.
The match between Arsenal and Chelsea will take place at the Emirates Stadium, with kick-off at 8 pm.
The predicted starting XI for Arsenal is Ramsdale; White, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Jesus, Trossard.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s predicted starting XI is Kepa; Fofana, Silva, Chalobah; Azpilicueta, Enzo, Kante, Kovacic, Chilwell; Havertz, Sterling.
