Due to administrative reasons, the court has postponed the hearing for the Italian football scandal, which involves Tottenham managing director Fabio Paratici and Juventus.
The Turin judge announced that the hearing will now occur on May 10th. Juventus, former club president Andrea Agnelli, Paratici, and ten others face charges of false communications, obstructing watchdog agencies, false billing, and market manipulation.
However, they deny all allegations.
Maurizio Bellacosa, a lawyer for Juventus, stated that the club would request a change of venue to Milan or Rome when the trial resumes. He affirmed the delay as a normal procedure. In November, Turin prosecutors launched an investigation that led to the resignation of the club’s entire board of directors.

Turin prosecutors provided information that led to the re-opening of a sports trial in January. This resulted in Serie A imposing a 15-point penalty on Juventus.
Juventus has appealed the penalty to CONI, Italy’s highest sports court within the Italian Olympic Committee. The hearing is scheduled for April 19th.
If CONI reduces the penalty, it will aid Juventus in reclaiming its position in the Champions League.
Juventus is in seventh place in the league, but if the entire penalty is removed, it will move to second place.
UEFA has also requested documentation from the Turin prosecutors.
One of the prosecutors, Ciro Santoriello, withdrew from the case after a video surfaced of him claiming to be a fan of Juventus’ rival, Napoli, and expressing his hatred for Juventus.
