Davido, an internationally acclaimed Afrobeats artist, also known as David Adeleke, announced the release date for his fourth album, “Timeless.”
He shared the announcement on Instagram through a video on Tuesday.
After deleting several pictures and videos from his Instagram page, Davido returned, announcing his new project.
In the caption, he wrote, “There is a time for everything. A time to grieve and a time to heal. A time to laugh and a time to dance. A time to speak and a time for silence.”

He also expressed his gratitude to his fans, writing, “Thank you to everyone out there for your love and support that has held me down. All the love and messages while I was away, the gifts sent, the concerts you all threw! I appreciate it all.”
Davido’s break from the music scene was due to the tragic loss of his son, Ifeanyi, whom he shared with his fianceé, Chioma Rowland.
The three-year-old died in October 2022 after drowning in a pool at the singer’s residence in Lagos.
The album title “Timeless” may reflect Davido’s desire to create music that transcends time and remains relevant for years.
Fans have to wait until March 31st to discover what new sounds and themes the album will explore.
In the words of Davido, “what is now Timeless, was once new. It’s time for new. My next album TIMELESS is here.”
