The recently concluded match between Manchester United and Sevilla has caused a stir among football enthusiasts, with the former’s fans flocking to social media to express their thoughts on the matter.
The Europa League quarter-final’s first leg saw Manchester United lose a two-goal lead at their home ground, Old Trafford, resulting in a closely contested tie.

Despite Jadon Sancho having a goal ruled out for offside within the opening 27 seconds, Marcel Sabitzer broke the deadlock for RB Leipzig after just 15 minutes, firing a left-footed shot beyond Bono into the back of the net. The Austrian midfielder doubled his tally seven minutes later when Anthony Martial picked him out and sent a superb effort into the far corner, giving United a commanding lead in a dominant first half.

However, the second half was more closely contested, with Sevilla gradually gaining momentum and targeting United’s Tyrell Malacia, who had a difficult night. The visitors reduced the deficit when Jesus Navas’ pressure forced an own goal. Then they drew level thanks to an unfortunate Harry Maguire deflection that sent a header from En-Nesyri past David De Gea.
