As Arsenal prepares for the upcoming summer transfer window, the Gunners are expected to make some big-money acquisitions and sell off some players to support Mikel Arteta’s ongoing rebuild of the squad.
The Live News takes a look at some players that might move away from the Emirates during the transfer season.
1. Emile Smith Rowe
Even though he is a fan favorite, Smith Rowe could leave the club in search of more playing time. Arsenal has held talks with Mason Mount, a player with a similar skillset as Smith Rowe, and may consider any significant offer for the 22-year-old.

2. Granit Xhaka
Xhaka is a vital member of the squad, but there is expected to be interest in the Switzerland international. Arsenal may consider selling the 30-year-old midfielder if they sign Moises Caicedo or Declan Rice.
3. Charlie Patino
After his impressive loan spell at Blackpool, the 19-year-old midfielder is set to leave Arsenal. Several clubs in England and abroad are already showing interest in Patino, and Arsenal is expected to include several clauses in any deal they agree to.

4. Kieran Tierney
Although Arsenal would prefer to keep the Scottish left-back, Tierney could push for a move following his reduced playing time in favor of Oleksandr Zinchenko. Newcastle and Aston Villa are among the clubs interested in the 23-year-old and may make significant bids to acquire him.
5. Nuno Tavares
Tavares’ loan spell at Marseille started well, but his playing time has reduced, and a permanent move is unlikely. With Tierney perhaps leaving, Tavares could be an option as backup to Zinchenko next season.
6. Sambi Lokonga
Lokonga is unlikely to feature in Arsenal’s midfield after the club brings in new players. Crystal Palace had him on loan, but it is difficult to find a buyer for the 23-year-old Arsenal signed from Anderlecht two years ago for £18 million ($23m).
7. Reiss Nelson
Talks for a new contract are still ongoing, but the 23-year-old winger is yet to agree to new terms. Brighton and other clubs are reportedly interested in Nelson and may lure him away on a free transfer.
8. Folarin Balogun
Balogun has had a successful loan season at Reims and could push for a move amid interest from several clubs. Arsenal could decide to sell the 21-year-old forward while his value is high.
