Nollywood actor Charles Inojie has taken to Instagram to express his grief following the tragic news of the death of his colleague, Cynthia Okereke.
Charles shared a photograph of the deceased and admitted that he was at a loss for words upon hearing the news. He prayed for Cynthia to rest in peace and assured her he would forever cherish their friendship.
In his heartfelt tribute, Charles stated, “Words fail me. Rest in peace, my friend, aunt, and mom. I will forever appreciate your friendship” (source: Charles Inojie’s Instagram).
Earlier today, the untimely passing of Cynthia Okereke was reported a year after her harrowing experience in the clutches of kidnappers. Joseph Okechukwu, another member of the entertainment industry, initially shared the news.
Joseph revealed that he had planned to pay for Cynthia Okereke’s flight ticket to America, but sadly, she passed away on Tuesday night.
Overwhelmed by the news, he expressed his devastation, saying, “REST IN PEACE, Nwanyi oma. I’m shattered beyond words. The fact that I was about to pay for your flight ticket to come finish what we started, only to hear you went to be with the Lord just last night, is one of the toughest things I’ve ever had to deal with in recent times. I pray I’m able to recover from this shock. Life is really just a mist.
