Riyad Mahrez, the 32-year-old winger, has experienced a decline in his position among wide players at Manchester City, particularly with the preference given to Bernardo Silva in important matches.
Despite starting in 22 league games since the World Cup, it appears that Mahrez has lost his place in Pep Guardiola’s preferred starting lineup.
Recent reports indicate that Al-Ahli, a football club, is highly interested in acquiring Riyad Mahrez from Manchester City, and their interest has been described as “confirmed and concrete.”

Sheffield United Parts Ways with Billy Sharp.
Sheffield United has made the decision to release striker Billy Sharp, effectively ending his chances of representing his boyhood club in the Premier League next season.
Sharp, 37 years old, came through the youth ranks at Bramall Lane and has made 377 appearances, scoring 129 goals during his three spells at the club.
Although Sharp played a significant role in Sheffield United’s promotion from the Championship and their run to the FA Cup semi-finals last season, manager Paul Heckingbottom has determined that he does not deserve a new contract in the top flight.
Jack O’Connell and Enda Stevens will also depart the club after contributing to the team’s promotions over the years. However, Sheffield United has exercised contract options to retain Oliver Norwood, Oliver McBurnie, Wes Foderingham, and Ismaila Coulibaly. Negotiations are ongoing for new deals with John Fleck, Jack Robinson, and Ben Osborn.
